River Park. 6395 Long Ferry Road. The Lodge owns 24 acres of prime property on High Rock Lake. We have a boat ramp, beach area, 27 sites with water and electric hook-ups (As of 5/06 ~14 are unavailable as they are on yearly leases), a big shelter with shower and kitchen areas, a horseshoe pit and plenty of woods to get lost in. Phone (in season) 704-633-5568. To make reservations call the Lodge at 704-636-1161 after three. YOU WILL NEED TO GET A GATE KEY AT the lodge prior to visiting the river park! Be advised that lots that are available for daily and weekly rental are back off the water.

Directions: I-85 exit 81 Longs Ferry road (near Spencer and 5 miles north of Salisbury) Go East 5 miles on curvy winding road. When you reach a sign that says "road ends 1000ft" then turn right on gravel road. There's an Elks and Moose sign marking the entrance. Go to second gate. If you end up at the Moose, you are one gate to far!
