Don Stout Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament

Don was a member of the Salisbury Elks lodge for many years. He held many positions, most recent, Lodge Chaplin, Publicity chairperson, District Veterans Senices chairperson, and Scholarship chairperson. Don also conducted VA Bingo the first Tuesday of each month at the Salisbury VA Hospital, he made arrangements and scheduled members to ring the Bell for the Salvation Army at Christmas each year, along with making arrangements for the Recreation Singers. Don also had a long career as an educator with the Salisbury school district and took great pride in teaching young students. It is this reason that Salisbury Elks Lodge #699 has chosen to award two $1000 scholarships to deserving students, in Don's name. The Elks feel there is no better way to honor Don's memory then by helping a student further their education.

The Don Stout Memorial Golf Tournament is a fundraiser to raise money for the scholarships and hopefully add to the number of scholarships available every year.
